Display the Subscribe by E-mail box
When this checkbox is ticked, a small feedburner email subscription form is added at the end of the post (Marked 1 in the screenshot below). You have to enter your Feedburner ID in the General settings page for this to work.
Display social bookmarking icons
When this option is checked, a set of social media icons will be added at the end of the post. You wont need a separate plugin to share your posts on social bookmarking sites when you are using SWIFT :). Marked 3 in the screenshot below.
Display author biography
Check this option to display author bio at the end of the post.(Marked 4)
Author bio should be entered in the WordPress user profile page
To get your image next to the bio, you should signup at gravatar and add your photo to the email id you use on your blog.
I know that the icons are a touch large, but I don’t think they’re ugly at all. I find them charming and quite cheerful.
How can i do the next:
make smaller social bookmarking icons and change background color from black to something else.
Subscribe by email doesnt work with adding only feedburner id it say “The feed does not have subscriptions by email enabled”. only subscribing via rss is possible.
The social media bookmarks are big and ugly. Is there a way to disable these and install some neater, smaller ones?
What about #2 (related post) in the author’s bio box? It shows it but doesnt explain how to do it. Any suggestions?
Karen:
Did you find the answer to this? It is a separate plugin that Satish recommends here. I installed and configured it in about 3 minutes. Very self explanatory and seems to work nicely with this excellent theme.
