At the rate the mobile traffic was increasing responsive design is a must. News paper layouts we had earlier weren’t responsive. So we removed news paper layout from Swift in v7 and promised to bring a new responsive news paper layout in its place. Toda is that day.

Other changes/additions to this version are
- Automatically set featured image as Facebook open graph image.
- Option to disable auto sliding of slider.
- Include Contact Form 7 styling.
- Fix search widget search button overlapping with input field on tablets and mobiles.
- Fix navigation menus expanding on mobiles bug.
- Made changes based on Google Page Speed user experience guidelines. Swift now scores 96 for UX on mobiles.
- Fixed Google structured data errors.
- Replace Swift affiliate widget banners with new ones.
We did a lot of research and put a lot of thought in planning and developing the layout. Making it responsive wasn’t an easy task. We spent almost two weeks in getting everything right. Hope you like it and enjoy using it.
