All good now Satish. Thanks so much for your excellent support!
Never mind, something I did. Sorry.
So close! Just about perfect except at the top of the search results the following is displayed
echo "main ";
Continuing to look at search.php and I think the section need modified is this:
<?php while (have_posts()) : the_post(); get_template_part($layout, get_post_format()); endwhile; ?>
Am I on the right track?
Thanks for the reply but none of those options duplicate the display I’m looking for. I wish I could get the Upload Image button here to work so I could show you what I mean.
If you search by tags or, select a category, at https://tunegorila.com you will see the search results display I would like. If you use the search box it returns the search display results I do not want.
Can I just take a copy of page.php and rename it search.php?
Thank you for any help.
I managed to fix it by going back to the old form code that Google provided. The problem started when I finally went SSL on my site but by making a slight change in the old form code fixed it for me.
Any update on widget CSS for Google search?
Doesn’t work for widgets. First precedent always seems to be
Never mind Satish, it does work on the page CSS just not in the User CSS. Now to see if it works for widgets.
Thanks Satish, unfortunately that did not fix it.
Thanks Satish, that fixed it. Only have <?php in functions.php
Looking forward to trying the new theme update!
Nope, did not remove it that I know of but glad I now know there is an option in the theme.
Thanks for the help.
I’ve been building WordPress sites for years and have used the more tag many times. This seems to have broken in the last few months. See attached.
I have sent you login information before for the site. Do you still have that?
Still waiting for answer.
