SWIFT General Settings guide

Favicon explained
Arrows pointing the favicon

Custom Favicon

Upload your favicon through ftp or your hosting dashboard or WordPress uploader and past the url in this field.

Example: http://yousite.com/favicon.ico (If you uploaded your icon in the root of your site)

If you are wondering what favicon is..

Favicon is short for “Favourites Icon”, it is the stylish little icon that is displayed in your browser next to the website address (See the screenshot). Its called that because if your visitors add your site to their favourites then it will also shows up on their list making your site stand out that little bit more.

Header Scripts

If you have to include any scripts in the tag, you can add them here. I use this option to add BuySellAds JavaScript code.

If you have to add any scripts before </body> tag, add them here. Typically used for adding website stats script like Google analytics.

Feedburner ID

Your feedburner ID can be found in your feedburner feed URL. For example, if your feed URL was http://feeds2.feedburner.com/MyFeedURL, then MyFeedURL would be your Feedburner ID. Easy enough? 🙂

  1. Satish bhai , I am really having a tough time in changing the favicon, I wished if you can help me out. I am using the free version as of now , once the blog is in good shape I will be buying the premium version and till then my knowledge will also be increased about websites and stuff.

  2. Can’t get my own favicon to appear. I’ve uploaded it through ftp, I’ve put the URL and still not working. Apart from that I’m well pleased with the over-all design and functionality.

      1. Hi Satish, once again, thanks for this awesome theme. I have an issue with feedburner subscription. Using the Swift Email subscription widget, it says, “The feed does not have subscriptions by email enabled”. But if I use the code from Feedburner it works.
Another thing is the font size of the post titles in the home page. I tried to change it to smaller font but it’s not working. I am using the latest version.

  3. For the most part I am delighted with the Swift Template. Just a minor issue – The tag sequence in the Page and Full Width Page templates causes a spurious line in post headings. Commenting out these tags addresses the issue.
