I think you figured it out.

For anyone with the same question
    solution 1:
Goto includes and the slider file you are using
    swift/lib/includes/full-width-slider.php
    swift/lib/includes/content-width-slider.php

    and remove the following code
    [php]

    [/php]

    solution 2:
    add this to user CSS

    Code:
    .flex-caption h2{display:none}

If you are comfortable playing with code, go with solution 1.

I am sorry for bothering again! I am a newbie and this is very helpful. Wondering I’d u can tell me why my site displays oddly on an iPad? I have the settings at 3 columns for magazine lay out but on an iPad it is only displaying two. It’s also pushing my ads that should be on the sidebar to the bottom. Looks very unpleasant. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks!

Disable responsive layout in design options -> layout options

Wow! Easy! Perfect! Thank you so much! I am so glad I purchased this theme! :)

Is there also a setting to move my widgets and ads a little further to the right? They are way to close to my content? or is this something I need to change in the code?

    Thanks again!

Did you hardcode the ads into the theme?

You shouldnt do that, use text widgets.

yes, i did hard code. I tested with text widgets, but they are all still displaying in the same place, too close to content. I played around with the “follow me on the web” widget too, but I couldn’t move it over further to the right … away from content.. so I gave up on widgets and opted for hardcoding.

yet, as you can see even with hardcoding; the widgets as well as the ads are too close to content. Additionally, I noticed that text widgets didn’t work for ads that were larger than a box..(e.g. a skyscraper does not display properly when using text widgets) < the other reason i gave up on widgets :)

use text widget without padding and border.
If the AD is bigger than the widget, it flow out and touch the content. You should use a smaller ad in that case.
