Single Post Options Page-Can't find "Display Author Biography" or "Display Subscibe by E-mail" options

I am looking in the options, and I cannot find the check boxes for displaying an author biography and displaying the subscribe by e-mail box. I have attached a screen shot of what I am looking at in my single post options page.

Am I in the wrong place? Why am I not seeing these?

Author bio is shown only on multi author blogs, and you should update your bio on your profile page.
