Here’s a little glitch: I installed what says it is 3-column 5.43 from wordpress. Admin panel says its 5.28 and I am having a hard time finding 3 columns option. Is WordPress linking to the wrong file? Thanks!
Heads up, WordPress is most definitely pointing to wrong version. It’s giving you 5.28, labeled as 5.43. Satir, you rock so hard, you’ll get more than a coffee when I get this theme arranged!

When I install I get the following warnings. The categories table in Header is also messed up with large cells overlapping the checkboxes. Checking those boxes for categories doesn’t work – no categories appear in either top or bottom bars.

I don’t understand why the page title and description are not showing up properly in the far, far upper left hand corner of the screen (I am not sure what you call this area) on my home page. Other pages display it fine; just the homepage is not displaying it. It looks strange because you see a space then the pipe (|) then a space and the name of the site. What is wrong? featured post not working…
Nice theme – new issue with the actuall 5.42 version. Browser Firefox.
I can’t store the setting: featured posts slider= light, the Radio button do not store propperly. If i change add the pages on top of the featured post and the categorie below, the setting automatically jumps back to big features post slider with image. Seems like the settings do not store propperly.

I have only one problem with the slide does not work. I have the 5.40 version of Swift, I tried enabling PHP 5 and 4.49 (both global variables on and off). He wanted to know if you need a plugin. Thanks!

Thanks Satish for making the theme available. Your link for Current stable version 5.29 points to the 5.28 version at this moment which is no longer available in your repository, hence a 404 error. I downloaded 5.29 directly from your repository here;

I have installed the latest version 5.28 but get this error when activating the theme. I have checked uploads directory and it’s writable. The them displays but i can’t change any theme options. Please help!

I find your theme beautiful yet too buggy. With every version I install, things don’t seem to change much and it is frustrating the hell out of me. The slider is only shown as a little bar, because no images are shown, though I have large images and small thumbnails in every post. It is keeping me from publishing my site the way I want.

Hi Satish, just sarted using you excellent theme. I tried to change the mag loop so that my thumbnails would all be 150 by 150 but it didnt cahgne them. ( i changed teh defautly 176/90px in the mag loop.
I am wanting to have 100x100px thumbnails in the exerpts and 150 by 150 thumbnails in the slider. Is this possible? I am only new to wordpress and there seems to be all kinds of options, but i dont know the correct way with your template.

changing the thumbnails dimensions in magazine is tricky, it will break the layout.
However you can change the thumbnails size in slider and regular blog layout.
Find this line in includes/featuered-slider.php
<img src="/timthumb.php?src=&h=130&w=250&zc=1″ alt=”" />
and change the height and width values (;h=130&w=250)
Follow the similar procedure with layouts/blog-loop.php

Phenomenal theme! Are you sure it’s supposed to be free? Satish, as soon as I have make my first buck, my very next expense will be to buy you a cup of coffee. In the meantime, I did give it a 5-star rating at WordPress.org. :-)
So, 30 mins ago I discovered v5.14 on WordPress.org and inntalled it via the WP dashboard. Found the user guide link and poked around until I found the latest version available for download. The WP dashboard install created a “swift” folder, but the latest download has it all packaged in a SWIFT-v5.19 folder. Do I migrate my settings, or is there a proper way to do a version upgrade?

Why are you using a plugin to center text?
This functionality is built into wordpress.
Using child themes ( google wordpress child themes) you will have a much easier life updating the site when new updates come out, actually… that is why they were created.
You can do customizations via child themes, in that way upgrading is much easier

I think I’ve updated so many times some bugs have been following me through the updates.
I know I’m doing it the “hard way” but after failing to get the background to change on the page I finally looked at the CSS, which had the background property listed 3 times!

The randomness on here is getting frustrating. Please make a dedicated page that list the changes, I update by trying to copy my changes over, but I’m tired of repeating everything I’ve done every time I upgrade.

As far as possible, Stay away from editing the files.
The customization you did can be achieved from the options page, using custom css field.
the only files you need to edit is the mag loop to change the size of the thumbnails.
